Museum Models

These are examples of models that I am currently working on, on behalf of the Butter Museum in Cork, Ireland. The Museum is in the process of inaugurating a program that will utilise these digital presentations as part of an educational package for children of school going age.

Butter Tin

This butter tin can be found behind a glass case upstairs in the Museum; it is therefore useful to enable functionality that can load the model onto a phone and allow it to be viewed in conjunction with the physical (albeit restricted) object.

Butter Print

Butter ‘prints’ or ‘stamps’ were used to make decorative imprints on the butter. This model of a butter print (missing its handle) is relatively unusual in that it depicts a crown. Plant designs such as a rose or an acorn were more commonly used.
